Three Pretty Things : 11/8

I can't believe it's already Sunday again! There were a lot of great moments in a week that flew by, but I think what I noticed most were sunsets. Sunrises are now too early for me to care about, but the afternoons provide me with a moment to appreciate lush sky colors.

So here are my Three Pretty Things from the past week.
This moment was courtesy of a movie night with two great friends. Thank you, Zombieland, for making it all possible!

This is a quotation from Victor Frankl's book, "Man's Search for Meaning." Although my own daily struggles are nothing compared to his, I wanted to be able to see his philosophy of survival every morning.
This was on my way to teaching my night class... No more Blue Ridge mountain views to guide me to my destination, but the scenery is still stunning.

What made your week prettier?

Wow, nice stuff throughout your week!

Actually, I'm getting a bit inspired by you to do something similar. Generally weeks go by and I live the moments, but there is nothing there to remind me of them, other than a bunch of photos stuck on my external hard-drive.

I might try this "Sunday's interesting events of the week" post one of these days :P

So, have a great next week!

Up to the time change, I was witnessing sunrises... pretty but painful!

Really, they'd wake me up and suddenly I wouldn't mind being up so early.

The cross-country team I coach had a meet at Williams College. It was over three hours driving the van each way--much of it over narrow, twisty mountainside roads. But the views--as terrifying as they were--were absolutely stunning. The course was gorgeous and the weather was pristine. And the athletes spent most of the day smiling, making for a beautiful day I'll never forget.

Wait, you were once amongst the Blue Ridge Mountains?

How did I not know that?

Zombieland was super-neat and I'm glad you also enjoyed it!

Hmm.. my week has been prettier just from the sun that has broken out and made the water reflect into millions of sparkly things.

oh and fashion. Of course.

P.S. I just started, so I'd love it if you'd come by the blog and check it out

Gorgeous! I need to keep my eye out for pretty things during the week..I'm not doing too well at that lately! I had to read Frankl's book during college!
